END POLICE BRUTALITY #ENDSARS

I didn’t really have post planned for today, but I felt it was my duty as a youth & Nigerian to protest the unfair and inhumane actions of The Special Anti-Robbery Sqaud (SARS) & to help raise awareness about their ongoing incompetence and savagery.

We Nigerian youths are tired, frustrated and angry! We are living with fear in our own country under Leaders who swore to protect us! Leaders, who silence only enables the wicked acts perpetrated by SARS. What crimes have we committed? With the lowest of the low claiming that these actions are justified because we ‘flaunt our prosperity & dress in a flashy and uncouth manner‘…….The Sheer Ignorance!

The issue with Nigerians is that not agreeing with an elder is seen as disrespect, no matter how respectfully you disagree with them. They have been taught to silence youths, because they were also silenced during their time and learned to accept things as they were, pushing down their problems to their offspring. There is no accountability nor respectability in Nigerian politics.

What a country, where you can’t even attend a protest peacefully without getting shot with REAL bullets! Police brutality is a pandemic, and EVERYONE, Nigerians or Nay, need to band together to fight it as one. The cycle must be broken. The future must be safeguarded for the innocents to come. They deserve a life without fear. A life free from the mistakes of the past.

THEY CAN SILENCE A FEW, BUT NEVER ALL OF US
