To my fellow Nigerians out there, I would like to say that I understand. The World has done us dirty. Certain experiences have left us scarred and skeptical, sometimes unable to see the good in people or situations. You’re justified. You know those people who are always telling you to open up your heart? That what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger? Na scam. Original one. So I should be ecstatic about pain because it promotes growth? Just imagine. Once Bitten, Twice Shy would be a better motto biko. Hopefully this post should be able to enlighten you on regular steps we subconsciously take for our protection, because Wayo is a serious problem in this country.

It’s always euphoric when starting a new relationship. First kisses, First dates, that sort of thing. Sometimes it goes south all too quickly & you’re left heartbroken, doomed to start the whole cycle again. If you’re lucky, you find the right person after a couple gos on the merry-go-round. Unlucky? You’re stuck in the ride for so long that you end up becoming a permanent fixture. Either way, experience is gained, and that experience has taught us to recognise the 6 stages we may go through.

Sibling relationships are one of a kind. It’s this special blend of ‘I love you’ mixed with ‘I go still deny you outside’ with just a touch of ‘You must be mad. Try me and die’. I’m sure at some point we all debated the pros and cons of being an only child. But even after careful thought, I don’t think I would give up the fun, madness and drama that comes with having siblings. Which Are You? Male Edition

I recently put up a poll on social media where I asked people to choose which one of 4 suggested topics they would like to see me cover for my next post. This topic ranked the 1st, with an overwhelming number of female votes; it shocked even me. Wasn’t expecting that big of a response (I love you guys). Some of my friends just really wanted me to utilise my mediocre roasting skills. What can I say? I aim to please. The other topics will be covered in future posts. Stay tuned.
